For the Academy’s contribution to the Getty’s Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA  - From Latin America to Hollywood: Latino Film Culture in Los Angeles 1967-2017 – the Academy Oral History Projects department worked with a team of over 50 specialists (researchers, interviewers, camera crews, producers, translators, video editors) to record oral histories with notable Latino, Latin American and Chicano filmmakers. This project includes Oral Histories from artists such as: Alfonso Cuarón, Lucretia Martel, Luis Valdez, Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Lourdes Portillo, Arturo Ripstein, and others.

Lourdes Portillo was part of the London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and San Juan Bautista/San Francisco crews. More info HERE.
