As part of the Festival of Cultures, there will be a screening of two documentary films: Señorita Extraviada by Lourdes Portillo (2001) and Unfinished Journal by Marilu Mallet (1982), Latin American feminist filmmakers. This event will take place on Monday March 28 from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Campus Condorcet conference center (Place du front populaire, 93300 Aubervilliers, Metro: Front Populaire).
The session will be hosted by Anna Dodier (Panorama of Colombian Cinema), Mon Ross (Cinema of Women) and Katia Morales (doctoral student at IRCAV, curator of the program), in the presence of the director Lourdes Portillo by videoconference. The discussions will focus on the treatment of disappearances and exile in Latin American cinema.
